DVD burner
Rebecca’s one year birthday is coming up soon…. Pei and I want to compile all the movie clips and photos into a DVD. Problem is: We don’t have a DVD burner on our Apple powerbook and a new iMac is beyond our budget. 
We had the choice of buying a desktop PC with DVD burner. However, once you get used to a Mac, you really don’t want to buy a PC anymore. We finally decided to upgrade our current laptop with the following:
- DVD burner: $195
- 160 Gb hard disk: $345
- 1Gb memory upgrade: $149
- Volumen discount: -$100
Of course,
- daughter’s 1 year old DVD: priceless.
