Since I have read tons of papers that suggested kids should not watch TV, I don’t let Rebecca watch TV. Personally, I also believes that too much TV or video games is not a very healthy habit. To be honest, I was a TV junkie, too. But I decided to change this bad habit and set a good example for her. Therefore, I try to read a lot with her. Sometimes, I just read my own book and she will read hers by herself. After a couple days, she really enjoys reading and playing with me.
Here is the new book that I am trying to teach her for 2 days.
Last night, I went to one of the elders house in our church. I had a great time, eating and playing with other kids. Mom put the dress that you brought for me as a gift. For sure, I looked lovely, the only thing is I have a fatty chest( of course, with 2 layers of shirts..as in my own defense)……….. Mom barely did the buttons for me > <.
Mom was hoping that I could eat less with this tight dress on. BUT....................Desipte of my tight dress, I can still manage to eat my way through the whole night (for me, it is 3 hrs long-dinner...waahahah). I am so proud of myself ^O^.
Anyway, just want to know I like the dress and I had a great night out. Hope to see you soon.
Rebecca, En-Ting
PS. I wrote this letter with help of my mom..you don’t expect 1 year-old to wrote all this by herself, right?
During our vacation in Canada, we visit Susana & Ed’s place. They have a lovely dog, named “storm”. And it is Rebecca’s first time to see a “real” dog. Here is her reaction.
Today, Mommy and Daddy took me to IKEA. I was so exciting about everything I saw. There were lots of people and I got a new toy. Yeah….The best thing is I had my first ice cream!!
This Saturday, we had a very relaxing time. We visited our favorite place in the world- library- to get some books / DVDs for all of us. And later we went to Cupertino to get some really tasty beef noodles. Rebecca was very excited about everything.
