前幾天爸爸幫我買了一個畫畫的玩具，這兩天媽媽就試著敎我認字，我現在又多知道W跟REBECCA，也會說出”爺爺，奶奶，婆婆”這些詞。有時我耍賴，等我鬧完後，媽媽就問我要說什麼？我會小小聲說”對不起”因為我知道我不乖。現在我也知道拿到我想要的東西，也要小小聲說”謝謝”。

很喜歡Farmer Market的蔬果的新鮮度，不過由於本人很懶，又很討厭一家家的買菜選菜，往往就偷懶到家附近的Safeway大超市，一次買齊，不過最近想要一改偷懶之病，這提供給有興趣的人參考。

一直很想吃布丁，剛好冰箱有材料，上網查了食譜，吃完午飯去公園消耗小卡的精力，趁小卡午睡時，趕快來作充滿媽媽的愛心健康點心。

材料:

A.焦糖- 半杯糖, 半杯水

B.蛋液- 2杯蛋, 1杯紅糖(可多可少，看你要多甜), 香草精數滴

C.牛奶-4杯

作法:

1. 半杯糖加半杯水煮滾約20分鐘成深褐色的糖漿, 均勻的塗在容器上
2. 2個蛋加1杯糖加數滴香草精打散放一邊
3. 牛奶煮至冒小泡 (用中小火, 勿煮滾)
4. 將牛奶慢慢倒入蛋液中,快速攪拌均勻
5. 用小火煮牛奶蛋液, 邊煮邊攪, 但是勿煮沸 .
6.用瀘網過瀘牛奶蛋液入容器中7. 用保鮮膜封起來, 放在滾水架上
8. 蓋上鍋蓋, 蒸約20-25分鐘(每10-15秒將鍋蓋稍微打開, 人不可離開喔)

放涼就可以吃。

註:這點心有很多的牛奶對小朋友骨骼發育都不錯，對不愛喝牛奶的女生也很好，像我。因為我家小卡還沒兩歲，所以我牛奶是用whole milk跟reduced fat milk一半一半，如果給大小孩或大人吃，可以用1% milk。

好不容易鋪完兩間樓上浴室的地板，不知哪跟筋又不對的想要換主臥室浴室的窗子，本來只想換窗子就好，誰知道，老舊的窗子在老公的”查看”之下玻璃應聲而破，無奈之際只得乖乖去Home Depot定窗子，那知一波未平，一波又起，裝新的窗子竟然要打牆，想說本來就要拆到stud，就乾脆一不作二不休把之後要換磁磚跟浴室五金的計畫一起做，省得之後還得再打一次牆。

我們的浴室水龍頭很舊，是那種三個分離是古早貨，想說看能不能找到”好看”的古早貨，結果一去看，滿滿整片牆的shower head只有一個是那種三分離的型，而且還是那種很花阿媽級的貨色，我愛的當然是現代簡約款，可憐的老公拗不過我這個業餘設計師的堅持，乾脆的袖子一挽下海當水管工，整個水管鋸掉從新焊。

接下來還有瓷磚要選要鋪，希望一切能在七月初結束，因為家用Mr. Handyman要開始準備part-time MBA的考試跟申請的事情。說真的，老公去讀讀書也不錯，這樣他就沒時間手癢修家，我也可以跟灰塵說掰掰一陣子。 他現在還在焊水管，等他焊完在照像存證。

這個水管花了5hrs才做好，還得停水做，中間還衝出去買缺的材料，真是血跟汗的傑作。

Summer is the time where all primetime TV series take a short vacation from the small screen. Two of my favourites series (Heroes, and House) just had their season finale last week. All of a sudden, our living room feels quieter and we have more time in our hands.

Out of the blue, we decided to buy a TV series in DVD in order to spend the summer. Deciding to buy a DVD was the easy part, choosing which DVD to buy proved to be a bit harder than I thought. We didn’t want to simply buy something that we would watch it once – that would be a waste of time and money. It would have to be something that we both would watch it again and again. Ha! Now that’s a tall order.

Just as we were about to give up on the quest, Pei saw “MacGyver” on the stand. Immediately, we both knew that this is the DVD we’ve been looking for. It turns out that both Pei and I grew up watching this TV series!

While we were driving home, I shared with Pei that I’ve always like my swiss army knife because of MacGyver. On the other hand, I learned that MacGyver was her childhood crush!

Ha ha ha… Maybe I should carry around my swiss army knife more often….

Rebecca是屬於人來瘋的，這個weekend Angel一家來我家烤肉，她一看到Angel就很高興，一直拿東西給她，又親又抱的，學著小妹妹到處亂爬，還想要跟她乾杯，玩得可高興的。

之前還想說等這個禮拜空出一整個禮拜來potty train，沒想到小卡一看到我幫她買專給小小孩訓練自己上廁所的尿布的箱子上有個小姊姊自己上廁所的圖片，現在有事沒事還會自己試著爬到馬桶上，或拿著她的小馬桶蓋給我，問她噓噓跟poopoo的地方在那，她就自己跑到廁所，三不五時，也會還指著廁所告訴我她要上廁所。

昨天poopoo時因為一開始就又尿又poo，份量也不少，我還想她應該已經尿完跟poo完，才一把她放下來穿尿布，她又一直指著馬桶又想上去，我本來還以為她在鬧人，可是那小娃子非常堅持的一直指馬桶，我只好又把她放上去，才一上去，她就又噓的一大泡，真是只能說傑克～太神奇了！

Today I had my routine dental appointment. In the dentist office, I realized that they have installed a brand new LCD monitor in front of the patient’s chair. The state-of-the-art equipment can show you the X-ray results, as well as pictures of your teeth. This really helps you in understanding, in a graphical manner, what’s going on with your teeth.

But that’s not all. Before proceeding with the cleaning, the doctor asked me if I liked Seinfield. It turns out that the same monitor can be used to display popular TV series and sitcoms. (Maybe this sort of entertainment helps the patient feel less anxious during the dental cleaning procedure? Who knows?).

Well, it was indeed entertaining. However, I soon realized that I made a terrible choice. You can’t really laugh at the jokes because you have all these instruments in your mouth! Everytime I hear a good joke, I had to force myself not to laugh, for fear that the doctor would make a mistake during the procedure.

I guess whoever came up with the TV idea never really had a dental procedure while he was watching a sitcom.

Maybe next time they should install a dental chair that can give massages instead….

之前買了一個可以折起的小孩馬桶蓋，想說她就可以自己坐在上面poo，不過由於那個是可以折疊的，所以不是很穩，Rebecca都不願意坐久。加上樓上也有廁所，沒有她的馬桶蓋她都不願意好好坐，可能是被我撐的很不舒服，她也越來越大隻，根本撐不動。

前幾個禮拜去Target幫她買了個有把手和有軟墊子的新的馬桶蓋，她愛極了，要自己去坐馬桶她也很愛，還會自己拿她的新馬桶蓋試著放好，要上去，有時要poo，她就會拿馬桶蓋給我，然後擺出oopoo臉，現在有時她還會自己在上面噓噓，看來我快要給她potty train了。
